The opening four weeks of the 2023 Marbuilt Under-19’s competition have been confirmed.
The 2023 Marbuilt Under-19’s football competition will feature 22 teams playing across three divisions.
In the opening four games, eight teams will compete in Division 1 and Division 2 meanwhile six teams will participate in Division 3. Following the conclusion of Round 4, the NFNL will confirm the fixtures for the remainder of the season and will make changes to division’s at their discretion.
2023 will see two sides, Panton Hill and Thomastown, field an Under-19’s team for the first time in a number of years. Both sides will compete in Division 3.
Along with a women’s side, Heidelberg West will also have an Under-19’s team for the first time in their club history, after combining with Banyule to form a side. They will play in Division 3.
Greensborough will have two sides in this year’s competition.
There will be two games scheduled on Good Friday before the remainder of Round 1 takes place on Saturday, April 15.
