Published on Friday, April 19, 2013

Heidelberg has strengthened its lineup by adding three big names ahead of its clash with Epping.

The Tigers have included Blair Harvey, Mark Favrin and Rhys Healey for their first games of the year.

Northcote Park has included skipper Bronik Davies and recruit Tim Walsh for its trip to De Winton Park to take on Macleod. The Kangaroos have lost Cathal Corr and Matthew Clarke to the VFL but will be buoyed by a good recent record against the reigning premiers.

West Preston-Lakeside’s big loss to Montmorency has also cost it a number of stars, with Xavier Clarke, Dervis Akkus, Brad Sanderson, Billy Micevski all out injured.

The Roosters have added Oliver Dufficy and James Rizzolino for their debut games, while Raygan Tate will play his first senior match for the Roosters since crossing from Whittlesea.

Meanwhile, Lower Plenty has taken a hit ahead of its match against ladder-leader Bundoora with Bill Barden, Chas Bromley, Rory Kavanagh, Cam Elmore, Josh Turner all unavailable for the match at Yulong Reserve.

In Division 2, North Heidelberg will be without suspended duo David Florance and Ali Assi for its match against Hurstbridge.

Whittlesea has lost Brent Toll for its trip to Mernda, however the Eagles have named Marcus Webb and Matt Gersh for their senior debut in Whittlesea colours.
