The Northern Football Netball League is delighted to announce the final squads for the 2025 junior representative football academy.
Following the completion of trials and training squad sessions, the NFNL has confirmed the selected players for our Under 14 Boys, Under 15 Boys and Under 15 Girls squads.
We would like to congratulate the players and their clubs on their selection in the squad and wish them best of luck for the upcoming games in the AFL Victoria Metro Junior Development Series (MJDS).
We also thank the players who are not progressing for their attendance and efforts during the initial stages and wish them all the best for the 2025 junior football season.
NFNL Junior Football Manager Jennifer Phefley thanked all players for being a part of the process and is looking forward to seeing the selected players represent the League in the upcoming AFL Victoria Metro Junior Development Series.
“We would like to thank all the players who participated in the initial trials and the training squad. The depth of talent exhibited throughout the NFNL junior clubs made selection of the final squads very difficult,” she said.
“The 2025 NFNL Academy continues to build on the work done in the last couple of years in increasing the opportunity and experience offered to our NFNL Junior players, with improved engagement with external coaches and AFL Talent Pathway staff.
“We are excited to see the academy continue to grow and wish the 2025 representatives the best in the upcoming AFL Victoria Metro Junior Development Series.”
The AFL Victoria MJDS will see the NFNL representative selected Under 14 and Under 15 squads play three games in 2025 against other metropolitan representative teams.
