Brown to lead new Redbacks women’s team

Ben Brown has been appointed as the inaugural senior women’s coach of the Panton Hill Football Netball Club ahead of the 2024 season.

With the Redbacks preparing to field their first ever side in the NFNL women’s competition, Brown is one of the first appointments the club has made and has come across as coach after spending time with Laurimar’s senior women’s team.

They have also signed their first players for the upcoming 2024 campaign, with Bianca and Ruby Walker, daughter of club great Scott, joining the women’s program.

Panton Hill are offering multiple incentives for new players to join and be part of the first women’s side in the club’s history.

Summer training takes place on Wednesday nights from 6.30pm at Diamond Valley Secondary College Oval, Diamond Creek.
