La Trobe Sport are seeking expressions of interest from students to represent La Trobe University in both the University Netball League as well as the University Nationals in 2022.
UNIVERSITY NETBALL LEAGUE
The University Netball League (UNL) is the next UniLeagues National high-performance competition delivered by UniSport Australia.
The 2022 season will see La Trobe University compete in a state-based competition against Victorian Universities over seven weeks, from July to September.
The UNL is classified as a performance sport where athletes are selected based on their level of experience and current playing level. Participants must be current La Trobe University Students to be considered for this year’s competition.
A platform for any aspiring high-performance netballer, every match of the UNL will be live streamed on UniSport TV and broadcasted around the nation.
The UNL has been created off the back of the success of the University Basketball League (UBL). Whilst the competition will be state based in 2022, it will become a national competition in future years, much like the UBL.
