Eltham FC will hold a ‘Come Have A Kick’ girls-only clinic this Sunday, February 23.
The Eltham Junior Football Club is entering girls teams in the under-12, 15 and 18 NFL competitions for season 2014.
Training has already commenced at Susan Street Oval on Tuesday nights from 5:45pm and numbers have been encouraging with 30 girls already hitting the track.
This Sunday, February 23 at Eltham Central Park the club is hosting a "Come Have a Kick" clinic for girls only.
The clinic is open to all girls who simply want to have a try and join other girls in some fun.
There is no obligation to join up, just come down and see what footy at Eltham is all about. Dynamic Footy Skills are helping run the event with the Eltham girls coaches.
Three of Eltham’s former juniors currently on AFL lists will be coming along to the clinic to meet the girls and see how they are progressing.
David Zaharakis (Essendon), Nick Vlastuin (Richmond) and Marcus Bontempelli (Western Bulldogs) will be showing the girls a few tips and answering their questions on the day.
The clinic starts at 4pm for two hours and is FREE.
There will be a BBQ and refreshments provided for parents and siblings of the girls.
