Watsonia Sporting Club has confirmed that senior men’s coach George Lattouf will stay with the club in season 2024.

Lattouf led the Saints to their first MC Labour Division 2 finals appearance in 15 years in 2023, after finishing in fifth position with a 9-9 record before going down to South Morang in the elimination final.

He joined the club in 2019 following a stint as reserves coach of Division 1 outfit West Preston-Lakeside. He has also previously served as senior coach at both Parkside and Thomastown.

A club statement said:

The club is thrilled to announce that our senior coach George Lattouf will be back for season 2024.

After an incredible season that saw us reach the 2023 finals series, we couldn’t be more excited to continue this journey together with George at the helm.

His passion, leadership and dedication has brought the club to new heights and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.
