The Northern Football Netball League is pleased to announce a new partnership with Own Journey Travel.
Own Journey Travel will be the official naming-rights partner of the NFNL’s under-18 girls competition in 2018.
Own Journey’s vision is to help people reach their potential through travel. Tailored to the needs of young people keen to explore who they are whilst traveling the world, Own Journey Travel offers a unique travel experience.
Tours integrate a unique personal development program based upon positive psychology principles, with young travellers aged 18-23 enjoying five workshops exploring concepts such as empathy, gratitude, resilience, mindfulness and authenticity across ten-day tours of Cambodia.
NFNL chief executive Peter McDougall said he was excited by the new partnership with Own Journey Travel.
“The Northern Football Netball League takes great pride in being aligned with leading brands throughout the sporting and business industry,” McDougall said.
“We are grateful to be partnering with Own Journey Travel and believe the partnership will be extremely beneficial for all young people participating in the Northern Football Netball League.”
Own Journey Travel founder Chyloe Kurdas said she was proud to be the official partner of the NFNL’s under-18 girls competition.
“Own Journey Travel views sport in very much the same way we view travel – a platform from which young people can discover more about themselves and who they can be.
“Just like we do in our international tours, we are very much looking forward to helping to empower young women in the NFNL through a series of development sessions for players, coaches and clubs.”
The NFNL will provide an opportunity for one NFNL player aged between 18 to 23 to win a free trip with Own Journey Travel to Cambodia in early December 2018. More information will be provided in due course.
