The Northern Football Netball League and Sportscast Australia are delighted to announce that its NFNL Match of the Day broadcasts will be live streamed in season 2025.

Sportscast Australia will produce a live stream of one senior men’s match every Saturday, including live commentary and score graphics.

Since 2017, Sportscast Australia has managed the NFNL’s match day filming program, which includes filming and uploading every senior men’s NFNL football match.

In recent years, this has branched out to include senior men’s and senior women’s finals matches, as well as live streamed broadcasts of all senior men’s and senior women’s Grand Finals, as well as our senior and junior best and fairest evenings.

This introduced feature for season 2025 will continue to elevate the media coverage of the NFNL’s senior men’s competition.

Games will be streamed on the domain live.sportscastaustralia.com.au, with Match of the Day streams during the home and away season available to purchase for just $8.

NFNL CEO Martin Stillman hopes this initiative can begin to build a deeper connection with the League and its clubs & supporters.

“The NFNL is thrilled to offer supporters access to the NFNL Match of the Day through our new live streaming portal. Whether you’re in regional Victoria, interstate, or overseas, you can now watch NFNL football every week,” he said.

“This live streaming option provides significant benefits for both the league and our clubs, enhancing accessibility and engagement. We are excited to partner with Sportscast Australia and sincerely appreciate their ongoing commitment and support for football in Melbourne’s northern region.”

Founder and CEO of Sportscast Australia Andrew McLeish is thrilled to play a part in bringing the NFNL Match of the Day to a wider audience.

“Sportscast Australia are proud of long-standing relationship with the NFNL dating back to 2017.  During that time, we have worked closely on developing innovative video solutions to help the coaches drive elite performance and the league engage their growing audience,” he said.

“With the NFNL Match of the Day now going live, we are excited to help the NFNL take their digital footprint to the next level.”

The NFNL Match of the Day will still be heard on 88.6 Plenty Valley FM every Saturday in season 2025 from 2pm to 5pm.
