After leading Diamond Creek to the top of the MC Labour Division 2 ladder, the Diamond Creek Football Netball Club has confirmed the re-appointment of Andrew Tranquilli as senior men’s coach for season 2024.

2024 will mark Tranquilli’s fifth season with the Creekers, with the club announcing his appointment last week.

The club have finished on top of the ladder for the first time in 42 years after Tranquilli led the side to a brilliant 17-1 campaign in Division 2.

They will prepare to face Eltham in this Saturday’s second semi-final and hope to become the first team to book a spot in this year’s Grand Final.

All of Tranquilli’s assistants have also been re-signed, with the club also appointing a Football Operations Manager.
