The Northern Football League is saddened by the passing of life member Noel Smith.
Noel was a highly regarded figure within the Northern Football League and Diamond Valley Football League.
He was appointed the DVFL’s Junior Development Officer in 1996 and held the position for over a decade.
Prior to this, Noel held coaching and football roles at Eltham, Preston RSL and Warrandyte.
Noel accepted life membership with the Northern Football League in 2011.
The league sends its condolences to the Smith family in this sad time.
