Senior Teams | April 15-16 | Northern Football Netball League

The selected teams are in for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

With the new season brings plenty of change as senior teams select their lineups ahead of this weekend’s matches.

Notable new inclusions in Melbourne Greyhounds Division 1 include Essendon and St Kilda tall Shaun McKernan (Bundoora), former Melbourne ruckman Jake Spencer (Montmorency) and Collingwood VFL duo Vivian Blackmore-Moore (Banyule) and Jedd Longmire (Bundoora).

Billy Bedford (Diamond Creek), Chris Clark (Northocte Park), Gary Moorcroft (South Morang), Chris Ryall (West Preston-Lakeside), Corey Sleep (Montmorency) and Matthew Williamson (Old Eltham Collegians) are just some of the names who will debut with their new clubs this weekend while Jai Burns (Fitzroy Stars), Michael Florance (North Heidelberg), Patrick Flynn (Lower Plenty), Thomas Sullivan (Heidelberg) return to their former clubs for season 2023.

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to Sunday’s matches.
