2017 Meadows Greyhounds Division 1 Team of the Year

The 2017 Meadows Greyhounds Division 1 Team of the Year has been announced.

The league congratulates all players selected in the team.

The Team of the Year is selected by collating nominations submitted from each of the division’s senior coaches. Coaches Player of the Year votes and umpire votes are also taken into consideration.

A squad of 50 players was announced on Monday, of which the Team of the Year has been selected from.

Every club in Meadows Greyhounds Division 1 has a representative in the team.

Grand finalists Bundoora and Macleod each have four representatives, while Greensborough and Northcote Park each have three.

Ten members of the 2016 Team of the Year have again be selected. They include Michael Brunelli, Matthew Dennis, Jack Johnston, Lucas Hobbs, Ned McKeown, Dan McLinden, Gary Moorcroft, Nick Riddle, Justin Sherman and Justin White.
