The NFNL under-19 competition will feature its highest number of teams in a decade, with 21 teams set to compete in season 2020.
It will be the third season in succession that team numbers have increased in the under-19 age group following the introduction of grading in 2017.
Banyule and Eltham will each field two under-19 teams in the 2020 season.
Kilmore returns to the under-19 competition for the first time since 2016, while North Heidelberg will enter a standalone team after last year merging a team with Lalor, which competed as Bulldog Bloods.
The first four rounds of the under-19 competition will again be graded, with the final composition of the two divisions to be confirmed at the conclusion of Round 4.
The NFNL has commenced working on the Round 1 fixture, which will be released prior to the Labour Day long weekend.
Fixtures for the remaining rounds of grading will be released by 5pm Monday ahead of each round.
