St Mary’s Senior Football and Netball Club is seeking applications for the positions of senior men’s and development (reserves) coach for the 2025 season.
St Mary’s Senior Football and Netball Club is a family-oriented club located in Greensborough, Victoria. We compete in Division 2 of the Northern Football & Netball League.
Our purpose is to provide players at the end of their junior careers with an opportunity to continue their football journey in a welcoming and warm environment, and we are glad this was recognised when we were awarded NFNL Club of the Year in 2018!.
We have a strong focus on supporting local and home grown players, with many of our players being together since tackers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement training plans and game plans to ensure on-field and off-field success.
• Lead player recruitment, retention, and development within the Club, working closely with the Director of Football and relevant committee members.
• Foster a professional, positive, and disciplined culture in line with the Club’s values.
• Provide strong leadership to the playing and coaching groups that ensures a supportive team first culture.
Requirements:
• Minimum Level 1 coaching accreditation.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Australian rules football.
• Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Previous playing or coaching experience at a high level is preferred but not essential.
• Working with Children Check.
Please be aware you must be available Tuesday and Thursday nights for training, and Saturday for games.
