Alice Cook Appointed to Netball Competitions Manager

The NFNL is pleased to announce the appointment of Alice Cook as Netball Competitions Manager.

Cook joins the NFNL with a wealth of knowledge in netball. Most recently, working at the Eastern FNL as the league’s Netball and Administration Coordinator. She also brings four years of experience as a Netball Venue Manager across EFNL venues, along with 15 years of involvement in sports coaching.

Her professional background includes roles as Netball Coordinator at Presbyterian Ladies’ College and Sports Administrative Assistant with Australian Sports Camps, supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Development from Deakin University.

Along with these strong professional accolades, Cook’s love and involvement in community sports has seen her volunteer with the Victorian Premier Cricket club, Fitzroy Doncaster, as their club secretary.

Speaking on her appointment to the league, Cook said she is “excited to be joining the NFNL team as Netball Competitions Manager, and looks forward to working with such a passionate netball community”.

General Manager of Netball, Lauren Theodosis, is delighted to welcome Cook to the role.

“We are thrilled to have Alice join the league. Her extensive experience across grassroots netball, combined with her genuine passion for the game, brings a strong understanding of both competition management and the on-court environment, making her a valuable addition to our team.”

Cook will commence her role with the Northern Football Netball League on the 2nd of March, ahead of the 2026 Winter Netball Season.
