Shannon Bevis will remain at North Heidelberg as the club’s senior women’s coach for the 2024 campaign.
Bevis was the Bulldogs’ inaugural senior women’s coach this year, leading the side to a four-win season in Division 3.
A club statement said:
After the return of senior women’s football in 2023 at the North Heidelberg Bulldogs we announce the reappointment of Shannon Bevis as the senior women’s coach ahead of season 2024.
With a solid second half of the year & the likely high retention of the list & adding a few more players to provide more depth the club was of the view that under the guidance of Shannon our women’s program was heading in a positive direction.
Shannon is bullish about next year & we expect the squad to be better prepared for the season start as we push for a more competitive unit in 2024.
