Netball Victoria has provided a host of new resources, which includes at home training drills, free online Vixens clinics and resources for coaches and umpires.
Below is an outline of information that you might find useful in the upcoming weeks.
It includes details regarding Introduction to Umpiring Workshops, at home training resources and a discount from the Netball Coach for trials as well as FREE online clinics.
THE NETBALL COACH
The Netball Coach is offering you the opportunity to access netballtrials.com.
The code for the netballtrials.com is NETBALLCOACHCLUB. Affiliates will still be required to enter their credit card details, but the code will give you a 100% discount off the $25 sign-up fee.
AT HOME TRAINING RESOURCE
The team at Parkville Netball have developed a series of at home training resources . You will find several drills and ideas that target all the essential skills required in our sport. Please pass to your members to encourage them to maintain some level of netball skills and fitness.

WORKSAFE UMPIRES IN THE FIELD – INTRODUCTION TO UMPIRING
We will be holding two introduction to umpiring workshops via zoom during the upcoming school holidays. The dates are listed below.
• Friday 25th September 10:00am-12:00pm
• Wednesday 30th September 1:00pm-3:00pm
The Worksafe Umpires in the Field – Introduction to Umpiring is a guide to starting off on your umpiring pathway. It covers expectations of beginner umpires, how to use a whistle effectively, hand signals and infringements, and positioning on the court. It also allows time for questions that otherwise might go unanswered being away from the court in the current restrictions!
This workshop is $20, and 2020 Netball Victoria members are offered a 25% discount to $15 and is held online via Zoom.
Participants simply enroll via Mynetball and an email to complete the registration and payment will be sent within 48 hours.

Once again, we will be offering three FREE Train Like a Vixen Online Clinics. Below are the dates for the sessions, which include a special boy’s only clinic.
