NFNL junior netball in 2020

Published on Saturday, January 18, 2020

The NFNL will conduct a junior netball competition and NetSetGo program in 2020.

This announcement follows a recently-conducted NFNL netball survey and positive feedback encouraging the NFNL to establish a junior netball competition.

We see this as a great opportunity for clubs to develop and create a pathway for players into the well-established senior netball competition.

Our junior competition will be offered to both boys and girls. Age groups will be based on interest and demand.

A NetSetGo program will also be offered.

NetSetGo is netball’s starter program for girls and boys aged 5 to 10 and provides an opportunity for participants to learn the netball basics, get outside and make friends.

The NFNL anticipates to conduct the junior netball competition and NetSetGo program at Harvest Home Primary School in Wollert, which contains two outside courts.

Depending on club interest, we do have the opportunity to play at other venues within the Northern Metro region.

Clubs wishing to express interest in entering a team in the junior competition can complete the online form. To access the form, please CLICK HERE.
