The NFNL are now accepting expressions of interest for accredited coaches wanting to be involved in our Junior Representative Program in 2023.
The NFNL will again field representative teams in the Under 14 Boys, Under 15 Boys and Under 15 Girls competitions ahead of the 2023 AFL Victoria Metro Junior Development Series which will be played over the Queen’s Birthday weekend.
We are seeking a Head Coach and Assistant Coach for each of our representative teams. There will be an A side and a B side for each age group.
Club nominated players will be involved in try outs in mid-late February with the final squads of players to then be selected in approximately mid-late March 2023.
The appointed Head Coach and Assistant Coach in their assigned age group will be involved in:
• The selection of the final squad players from try outs held in February.
• Selection of final A and B teams from selected final squads in their age group.
• Conducting of a weekly training and development session of players in their team March- June, in the lead up to the AFL Victoria MJDS matches in June. (Generally Monday or Wednesday nights).
