The NFNL has unveiled its Cleaning Melbourne Premier Division Teams of the Year for 2026.
Cleaning Melbourne Premier Division 1 Team of the Year
It was no surprise given North Heidelberg 1’s dominance across the season that they led the way with five selections in the Premier Division 1 TOTY, bookended by star shooter Bec Colwell and defenders Kirra Parks and Olivia Ellis.
Grand finalist Whittlesea had four selections and Banyule had three to round out the team.
Cleaning Melbourne Premier Division 2 Team of the Year
North Heidelberg continued to be the standouts in Premier Division 2 with four players selected for the Team of the Year.
The rest of the selections were spread around, with Montmorency, Kinglake, Fitzroy Stars all having two players picked, with one each from Watsonia and Hume.
Cleaning Melbourne Premier Division 3 Team of the Year
Premier Division 3 was a very even competition and that was reflected in the Team of the Year selections with three players each from grand finalists South Morang and Hurstbridge, plus another three from Thomastown.
Heat (two selections) and North Heidelberg (one) rounded out the squad for this season.
