The senior teams for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.
North Heidelberg has made three changes for its clash against West Preston-Lakeside in a rematch of last year’s Meadows Greyhounds Division 1 preliminary final.
The Roosters have made four changes, which includes the loss of star ruckman Mark Kovacevic, reigning best and fairest Sam Glover and key forward Liam McVeigh. However it’s not all bad news for the reigning premiers, who welcome back Michael Ercolano and Ozgur Uysal.
Ben Fennell has been named by Greensborough to play former side Montmorency in the twilight fixture at Montmorency Park. The Boro have lost key forward Tynan Smith, while the Magpies go in unchanged.
Lower Plenty will take on Bundoora without skipper Patrick Flynn after he failed to overcome an ankle injury sustained in the Good Friday loss at Greensborough. The Bulls have made one change, with Brenton Briffa set to miss.
Hurstbridge welcomes back Jack Furlong following a stint at Bundoora, along with key forward Bailey Jordan for its trip to Bill Lawry Oval to take on Northcote Park.
Brock McLennan, Jake Mills and Michael Naldrett all come back into the Cougars’ line-up, although in-form defender Lachlan Boscarini is out.
Daniel Coffield, Matthew Keys and young gun Nicholas Reibelt all return for Eltham’s home match against Whittlesea in the standalone Saturday game in A Plus Labour Solutions Division 2.
The Eagles have made seven changes, which includes losing injured skipper Riley Dyson and Clancy Bland.
In Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3, Heidelberg West regains key forward Kyl Ewart for its trip to South Morang. The Lions have added Tye Hall and Matthew Trim, but will be without reigning best and fairest Bailey Brown.
Meanwhile, captain Tim Woods is one of five inclusions for Old Eltham Collegians when it hosts Kilmore.
