All senior men’s teams are permitted to select a 23rd Player for this weekend’s matches. The 23rd Player must be an under-19 eligible player and can’t have previously played more than two senior games.

Bundoora has named Luke Collins for his first game of the season, with the Bulls playing host to Heidelberg at Yulong Reserve. Nathan Honey returns for the Tigers.

Hurstbridge has received a welcome boost for its clash against Northcote Park at Ben Frilay Oval, with skipper Lachlan East and Cameron Cloke both included.

The Cougars also have some welcome additions, with skipper Paul Dirago to play his first game in 2021, while Ben McNiece and Ricky Fandrich are also among the ins. However, ruckman Kyle Galloway has been called-up to play for VFL outfit Coburg.

Hamish Paynter returns for Macleod for the club’s return match at the refurbished De Winton Park, however Anthony Doherty and Brad Leggett will both miss the match against Greensborough after sustaining hamstring injuries last week. The Boro welcome back Matthew Haynes.

Northern Bullants-listed midfielder Jackson Barling will make his West Preston-Lakeside debut when the Roosters host Whittlesea at J.E. Moore Park. Barling is a former member of the Sydney Swans Academy. Paul Higgins returns among four changes for the Eagles.

Star forward Jackson Starcevich will make his long-awaited debut for North Heidelberg in the Bulldogs’ clash against Montmorency at Shelley Reserve. He will be joined in the side by North Melbourne VFL midfielder Curtis Brown. The Magpies lose Braedyn Gillard from last week’s victorious side at Greensborough.

In MC Labour Division 2, Brent Stanton will play his first game in 2021 when Banyule hosts St Mary’s in a twilight game. Devin McDonald is also back for the Bears, while St Mary’s will be without Jacob Yeomans.

Eltham welcomes back Bradyn Taglieri for its important trip to Coventry Oval to take on Diamond Creek, however key defender Matthew Keys is among the outs.

Cameron Elmore will miss Lower Plenty’s clash with Thomastown at Montmorency Park South Oval. The visitors have named Daniel Chadwick for his first game of the season.
