Senior Teams | August 6 - August 7 | Northern Football Netball League

The selected teams for this week’s NFNL senior football matches are in.

Senior men’s teams in Melbourne Greyhounds Division 1 ONLY are permitted to select a 23rd Player for this weekend’s matches. The 23rd Player must be an under-19 eligible player and can’t have previously played more than two senior games.

Heidelberg recruit Brayden Sier will play his first game from injury when the Tigers travel to Greensborough.

Sunny Brazier returns for Hurstbridge’s must win clash with Northcote Park. The Cougars are unchanged from their 31-point loss last week.

Marcus Lentini will be a welcome addition for Montmorency in their top five battle with Bundoora while North Heidelberg make four changes for their trip to Whittlesea, with Brandon Bailey and Charles Le Fanu headlining the inclusions.

In a boost for Lower Plenty, Darcy and Billy Barden will return for the Bears in their big clash with St Mary’s. The Burra bring in Nicholas Dean but do lose Jacob Yeomans.

After being a late out last week, Tyrone Leonardis comes back into the Thomastown line up for their match with Panton Hill while Mikael Avramov and Michael Still return for Eltham when they face an unchanged Fitzroy Stars outfit.

Tim Martin headlines the inclusions for Banyule when they host Diamond Creek, but in a massive blow for the Bears, Kye Yodgee is out through injury. The Creekers welcome back David Mennen and Joel Randall.

Laurimar will be bolstered by the return of captain Mitchell Thompson for their top to the table battle with South Morang while Ryan Bongetti makes his way back into the Mernda lineup for their trip to Heidelberg West.

Timothy Ellis and Niall Mcdonagh will be much needed inclusions for Old Eltham Collegians when they face Kilmore away from home. The Turtles lose Matthew Keys and Eden Simpson.
