The selected teams for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

North Heidelberg has included Charles Le Fanu and Doug Morris among three changes for its Meadows Greyhounds Division 1 top of the table clash with Bundoora at Shelley Reserve.

The Bulls welcome back Jackson Davies and Brenton Keating, but lose Danny Younan to VFL duties after last week playing his first game for the club since the 2017 grand final.

Tom Bell and Nathan Hrovat are among five inclusions for Greensborough for its trip to Bill Lawry Oval to take on Northcote Park. The Cougars have lost Luke Svarc and Matthew Grocott among four changes.

Macleod regains Anthony Doherty, Reid Brandt and Northern Knights skipper Joel Trudgeon for its clash with Whittlesea at De Winton Park, however Lucas Hobbs and Shane Doherty both go out of the side which last week broke through for the Roos’ first win this year.

The Eagles will be bolstered by the return of Cameron Wild, Jake Wild and Brody Bell as they hunt a second-successive win.

Heidelberg regains Matthew Smith and Nick Richards for its trip to Montmorency, although Nathan Honey and Brody Tardio are among the outs. The Magpies have made four changes as they look for their first home win of the campaign.

Trent Barbero returns for Hurstbridge’s home clash with reigning premier West Preston-Lakeside, although in-form speedster Tyson Old is out of the Bridges’ line-up.

Riley Loton won’t play for Banyule in the MC Labour Division 2 ladder-leading battle against Diamond Creek. The Creekers regain young gun Ewan Macpherson, but will be without Michael Florance.

Darcy Barden won’t play for Lower Plenty in its away match against Panton Hill at A.E. Cracknell Reserve. Tom Blake and Sam Paterson return for the Bears, while the in-form Redbacks regain Daniel Freeman and Jonty Rushton.

Jackson Weatherald returns for Eltham, although Marc O’Regan will miss the clash against Watsonia. The Saints have lost Adrian Alfonsi among five changes, with Xavier Kelly among the inclusions.

Todd Hughes is out of Thomastown’s line-up for its home match against Epping, where the Blues have lost midfielder Alec Buchan.

Meanwhile, Daniel Castagnini returns for St Mary’s for its match against Fitzroy Stars at Whatmough Park. John Hayes is one of six inclusions for the Stars.

In Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3, Laurimar has been dealt a major blow ahead of its clash with undefeated ladder-leader South Morang, with leading goal kicker Josh Williamson and Jake Richards among six outs. Michael Brennan will play his first senior game of the season.

Forwards Allan Young and Alex Hywood return for Heidelberg West as it chases its fifth win of the season away to Lalor.

Kilmore has included Stephen McIntyre and Scott Swindells for its trip to Mernda, where the Demons regain Jarrod King.

Nick Gregson makes a welcome return for Reservoir for its match against Old Eltham Collegians at Yarrambat War Memorial Park. The Turtles have lost key forward Fraser Cloney to injury.

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to Sunday’s matches.
