The Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 Team of the Year for 2026 has been unveiled.
The selected team was based on the following criteria:
- Nominations submitted by each senior coach within Division 3
- Coaches MVP votes
- Best and Fairest votes
- Goal kicking statistics and best player mentions as selected by clubs through the season
Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 Team of the Year
Ten of the eleven clubs which competed in Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 in 2026 are represented in the Team of the Year.
It’s no surprise to see undefeated minor premiers Ivanhoe lead the way with five selections including Coaches MVP Riley Loton and grand final opponent Laurimar with three including the Division 3’s leading goal kicker Patrick Fitzgerald.
Finalists Watsonia and Mernda also chalked up three selections each, while the remaining spots went to Heidelberg West (two), Reservoir (two), Kilmore, Epping, Old Eltham Collegians and Kinglake (one apiece).
