Published on Friday, April 26, 2024

The selected teams are in for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

All senior men’s teams in MC Labour Division 2 and Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 are permitted to select a 23rd Player for this weekend’s matches. The 23rd Player must be an Under-19.5 eligible player and can’t have previously played more than two senior games.

Banyule and Heidelberg will be without key names in their highly anticipated Melbourne Greyhounds Division 1 contest.

The Bears will not have Vivian Blackmore-Moore or Sam McLarty at their disposal while the Tigers will miss Nathan Honey and Daniel O’Dwyer to suspension.

Both Bundoora and Hurstbridge have made four changes for their clash at Yulong Reserve, with Joel Naylor and Jake Wild headlining the inclusions for the hosts.

Kobe Brown and Michael Hurley will miss for West Preston-Lakeside and Macleod respectively ahead of their battle, meanwhile Eltham go into their match against Montmorency unchanged.

Tim Duckworth and Jesse Owens-Draper return for Panton Hill in their important MC Labour Division 2 clash with Watsonia, while William Barden and Joshua Turner are back for Lower as they look to make it three in a row against St Mary’s.

Ryan Pingree headlines the inclusions for Diamond Creek as they face a Northcote Park outfit who have made nine changes.

Patrick Farrant, Tyson Pickett and Lionel Proctor have all been selected for the Fitzroy Stars’ Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 match with Reservoir.

Lucas Aquilina and Bryce Kimuliatis have been included in Epping’s and Mernda’s lineups respectively ahead of their eagerly awaited battle, while Matt Keys and Bradyn Taglieri will miss for Old Eltham Collegians as they host Lalor.

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to Sunday’s matches.
