WEST PRESTON-LAKESIDE will hold a fundraiser for Jade Burns this Sunday, featuring special guests Dave Hughes and Sam Kekovich.

Jade is currently going through some tough challenges fighting a serious illness and the West Preston community is proud to host and support such a worthy cause.

The club will be hosting a great day’s entertainment this Sunday, April 27 to support Jade, son of Johnny Burns and brother in law of senior coach Frankie Raso.

All money raised will go towards Jade and his partners Toni’s wedding celebrations, as well as assisting them on their journey ahead.

‘A Day For Jade’ will take be held at the West Preston-Lakeside FC club rooms (Edwardes St and Gilbert Rd, Reservoir), commencing at 1pm. A small $50 donation will gain you entry, nibbles and a great day’s entertainment.

Not only will lamb lover Sam Kekovich be hosting the day, but famous comedian Dave Hughes will also be headlining. Acts from Shannon McInerney, Twin Ages, Lee Morgan and The Morrisons make this event a must for any music lover.

If you want to attend or make a donation, please contact Frankie Raso or Graham Mills as soon as possible. Payment on the day is also acceptable on arrival.

So, whether you know Jade personally or have never met him before, get down to the club this Sunday for a great day, great entertainment and more importantly a great cause!
