In Division 1, Greensborough registered a massive comeback against Lower Plenty to earn its fourth win of the season and end a six-match losing streak.
West Preston-Lakeside also managed to overcome a big half time deficit to take the four points against reigning premier, Bundoora.
In Division 2, Epping and Diamond Creek met in a top of the table showdown, while Lalor took on Fitzroy Stars at Bill Lawry Oval with its season on the line.
