NFL Match of the Day – Epping v North Heidelberg

Published on Friday, July 6, 2012

The unbeaten Blues lead all comers on the Division 2 ladder, however second-placed North Heidelberg has dropped only two games all season and has won its past six games.

The Doggies last lost in Round 5, when Epping rallied from 10 points down in the final quarter to claim a 14.8 (92) to 12.10 (82) win at Shelley Park.

Matthew Garland was the hero that day, moving forward and kicking two final-quarter goals to clinch Epping’s fifth win of the season.

The utility returns for this week’s game after missing last Saturday’s 108-point win at South Morang, with Jarrod Agosta making way.

North Heidelberg has made two changes, with Trent Scannell and Daniel Bramich replacing Dylan Scott and Ben Naylon.

Tune in to 88.6 Plenty Valley FM for the NFL preview show with Samuel Zito and Tom Flanagan at 1pm, before the boys call all the action at 2:10pm.
