Hurstbridge unveils heritage strip

Published on Tuesday, July 10, 2012

The jumper, brainchild of senior player Joel Baillie, has been widely embraced by the Hurstbridge playing group, helping to give the club’s younger players and club members an insight into the history of the nearly 100-year-old club.

It will be a special day for all associated with Hurstbridge when the seniors take to the field against an old foe in the club’s original navy blue guernsey.

The navy blue design was used from 1914 to 1987.

Hurstbridge Auskickers will also be on hand during the day and will play at half time of the senior game.
