NFL TV – Episode 16

Published on Thursday, August 2, 2012

It’s a busy weekend, with junior finals commencing and all three senior competitions now in the final month of the home and away season.

In Division 1, Heidelberg hosts Bundoora in a replay of the 2011 Grand Final. The winner of this clash earns a massive boost in its minor premiership ambitions, adding even more importance to a massive rivalry game.

West Preston-Lakeside hosts Northcote Park for fourth place, while Macleod will continue its late push for a top five berth when it travels to Lower Plenty.

Fitzroy Stars host unbeaten Epping in Division 2 and if the Stars can cause a boilover they will give themselves a genuine chance of a second place finish come season’s end.

In Division 3, St Mary’s must lift against Panton Hill if it wants to play finals football in 2012. With Parkside hot on the Burras tails, the young side simply must lift for the big game.
