Fit for a King

Published on Wednesday, June 19, 2013

Well done to West Preston junior Peter King who played his 150th game on Sunday.

Peter became only the sixth player in the Roosters history to reach the feat when he stepped out against Hurstbridge in the under-17s, a match they saluted in by 14 points.

A fantastic team player, Peter is extremely well regarded by his team mates.

He began playing in the under-9s as a six-year-old and has continued with the club for the past 11 years.

Peter’s parents Rod and Heather have also been tireless workers for West Preston, with Rod holding down the treasurer post for the past five years.

Congratulations on a great achievement Peter!
