As mentioned on NFL.org.au last week, former Sydney Swans premiership forward Michael O’Loughlin will play for Greensborough in its match against ladder-leader Montmorency.
The Magpies have also made two good inclusions with Ben Haynes and Jesse Donaldson back in the team.
Heidelberg also has a number of big names set to return, including Justin Murphy pending a clearance. Brad Miller, Michael Finn and Josh Houlihan have also been named for Sunday’s Grand Final rematch against Northcote Park.
The Cougars have lost Brock McLennan but will be boosted by the return of Shaun Lorenzini.
Both Diamond Creek and Whittlesea will have big-name outs for tomorrow’s Division 2 top of the table clash.
The Demons have lost Brent Gutterson and Josh Whitehouse-Summers, while the Eagles will be without co-captain Garrett Heenan and Matthew Bekker.
North Heidelberg has gained Dave Florance, Sean Kelly and Andre Habchi for its trip to Hurstbridge, while James Dau returns for the Fitzroy Stars.
David Folino returns for Thomastown’s important top-four clash with Watsonia in Division 3. The Saints have been dealt a blow with Corey Bennett to miss through injury.
It’s a big day for Panton Hill against Heidelberg West with skipper Will Box set to run out for his 200th game. Box’s accolades include the Division 2 Best and Fairest in 2004, Team of the Year honours on four occasions, two club best and fairest awards and life membership with the Redbacks.
