Here are the teams for this weekend’s senior matches.
Lower Plenty will be without two of its stars for its important trip to Eltham. The Bears have lost both Billy Barden and Darcy Barden for their return clash with the Panthers.
Blair Harvey returns for Heidelberg as the Tigers injury list begins to shorten, while Matthew Dennis will make his comeback from injury when Bundoora takes on Macleod.
Whittlesea is further strengthened by the inclusion of co-captain Garrett Heenan and ruckman Matthew Bekker. The Eagles host South Morang at Whittlesea Showgrounds.
David Calthorpe has made five changes to the Diamond Creek side that last week lost to the Eagles. It’s a big game for the Creekers who travel to Sir Douglas Nicholls Oval to play Fitzroy Stars for second place on the Division 2 ladder.
Mernda has been bolstered by the return of Matthew Rees, Jesse Owens-Draper and David Hutchinson for its battle for fifth place with Hurstbridge. The Bridges have made four changes, headlined by the return of Dale Eames and Jack Donnelly.
Tristan Kreymborg returns for Panton Hill’s trip to Reservoir, however the Redbacks have lost Simon Amore to injury.
